Hey, I’m Ivan Lomeland. I’m an audio engineer focused on post-production; particularly dialogue editing/recording, SFX, mixing, and making things sound right.

I’m currently finishing up my studies at SAE Institute Vancouver, where I’ve been focusing on the craft of sound for film and media, alongside music production, mixing/mastering, and recording.

After discovering a strong passion for post-audio, I’m eager to take my first steps into the post-production industry.

I’m a certified Pro Tools Specialist; I know my way around a session, from chaotic raw tracks to clean, polished audio. I love the part of the process when everything finally clicks, when dialogue sits perfectly, backgrounds breathe naturally, sound effects impact the viewer, and the whole soundscape starts telling the story just as much as the visuals do.

In my free time I love watching anime, TV/movies, playing guitar, cooking, and the occasional video game.
